Ingredients

  • 1 tin Evaporated Milk

  • 1 1/2 cup Sugar

  • 1 Tsp Ground Nutmeg

  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon

  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract (Optional)


Recipe

  1. Add a tin of evaporated milk to a cast iron skillet

  2. Add in Sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla

  3. Simmer mixture on low for a hour and 15 mins to 1 hour and 30 mins. Stir ever so often

  4. After an hour and 30 mins the mixture should start to bubble and thicken up. Stir every 2-3 mins

  5. Once the edges of your mixture start to turn white your mixture is getting close to being ready

  6. Remove from heat and constantly stir/beat

  7. Use ice water to help you form your peera circles.

  8. Let cool and harden

  9. Enjoy!
